F/S - TL/IS300/GS WHEELS

As many of you know, I've been in the process of buying wheels for the coupe. The problem is I have too many sets. Guess I over did it?

I have one set of 95 GS wheels (only one wheel with curb rash). Three of the tires are Michelin with decent tread and one new off brand tire. $350

I have one set of 05 Lexus IS 300 wheels with 3 great Michelin tires and one decent Bridgestone. Only one wheel has minor curb rash. Wheels are being bored as we speak at the machine shop. $650

Last but not least I have a set of 05 TL wheels with no tires. (2 wheels with minor curb rash). Awesome looking wheels. NOT BORED. $400

I'll post pic's later...

Thanks for the speedy reply. If you would like to see a decent pic of the wheels you can look at my post "Why not? The Coupe...". I posted an imagestation viewing at the bottom of the thread. Sorry for not uploading the pics yet, but I need to clean the wheels first. PM sent 20Michael03.

Sorry, the IS300 wheels were mounted on the car today after boring and she's looking sexy; therefore, I'm considering keeping them for now!

The TL wheels are in great condition, but I like the silver trim of the IS rims better. A little bling can be nice. Thanks to all for responding so quickly!

Hello.

i bought rims from Lexus IS 200 to My Honda Legend 95

The rims are, i think so, the same like on the least photo.

rims are with 215/50/17 tyres.

some questions:
1)it's true taht i will have problem with smaller iamter in the rim than in the disc brake? You think it's easy and without problems...

2)will it be a p oblem with size tyre?aren't they too big?(colision with body)?

what should i know about fitting that rimsin my Legend?

Yes, the tires are fine, they will fit fine, with no collision with the body.

For the wheels to fit on the car properly, you must remove the tires, bore out the centre of the wheel (at the back ) to 70.1 mm, remount the tires and install them. You may need new wheel bolts, not sure about that though. Good luck. Nice wheels.

Make sure you give the machine shop the correct specs for boring.
Thanks for bringing this old thread back to life. I really miss my white coupe. The guy I sold it to won't return my phone calls?

I'm having a hell of a time getting my 94 black on black coupe ready for NALM. She's running rich, sputtering, cutting off, etc.
