Feeler: Trade '92-'93 Coupe CD Changer for '94-'95 Coupe Changer?

Hi All,

I'm looking for a set of CD Changer brackets for 1992-1993 Coupe from a car that is not a junkyard parts car or other salvage car. Acura only has the 1994-1995 Coupe brackets available. I've got 3 sets of 1992-1993 brackets now, which all seem to have come from salvage/junked cars. They are either bent, scratched, corroded, or a combination of all three. The best way it seems to get a set of good 1992-1993 brackets is from a good, running car. Granted, I know that no one is willing to pull a perfectly good CD Changer from a car to sell it to me, so.....

Here's my proposal:

1. You send me your 1992-1993 CD Changer with brackets (all 3 pcs)

2. Brackets must be in *mint* condition, i.e., they were installed in the car new, and never touched again after that. No corrosion, no scratches, not bent. Properly removed from car. I will want to see pictures before we do this.

3. Brackets must be from a running car. Brackets must not be from a salvage car. Your trunk and trunk seals have to be in good condition, and able to seal what's inside the trunk from corrosion.

4. Your CD Changer can be working or not. I only care about the brackets. Obviously, prefer a working CD Changer, but I'll take what I can get.

5. I send you a *brand new* 1994-1995 CD Changer and bracket set. I'm going to try to buy it from this guy who seems to always have one for sale at all times.

The 1994-1995 CD Changer and brackets will fit in any 1991-1995 car.

Anyone interested in making this happen?

Ben, I have the complete bracket set plus the plastic surround out of my '92 Sedan that I'll trade ya if it'll fit. One of the little plastic pins on the surround is broken off & it has some light scuffs but is otherwise in good shape and is complete. I'll try and clean it up with some 303 Aerospace Protectant if you'd like. Let me know what you want to do.

Unfortunately, Coupe and Sedan brackets are different.

Actually, that's good to know. I just bought an Alpine CHA-S634 and was going to try to make that work with this bracket set for the new Coupe. Guess I need to hit up A of A and see if they have a bracket kit plus the surround. Thanks, bro---

If you've got a Coupe bracket set from 1992-1993, I'll take that.....

Alternately, if anyone wants to sell me your 1992-1993 Coupe Changer/Brackets outright, and don't want another changer, I'll offer $300.
