FS: Heater Assembly

As noted have a heater assembly including evaporator and expansion valve for sale, $50 plus shipping (it is a bit heavy so shipping to your door will be around $40-45 depending on how far you are from Arizona). Please note that transistor not included.

hmm since you are taking your car apart.... according to ur pic .. uhh someone had mentioned to me about this valve? or a splitter or some little mechanism that allows heat to enter the cars cabin.. something that stops the cold air and lets the hot air in.. where do i locate that on my car? because im getting minimal heat atm. and its not the thermostat...

sorry, my explanation's suuuck

Hmm, not 100% sure I understand what you are referring to. On the engine side against the firewall is a valve that opens and closes. This valve lets hot coolant flow through the heater core creating heat in the heater assembly shown above. Within this assembly are different "flaps" or doors that are opened and closed to control the flow of air to push air through the heater core and/or evaporator (for cooling). There is a motor that controls the mix of hot and cold air, and another that controls other flaps to control the air to different places, ie feet, dash vents, or defroster vents. All the above except for the single valve in the engine compartment are all within the heater assembly above.

yea that valve!. lol the one u mentioned at the start.
is it possible for that thing to be stuck half open/closed not allowing the flow to .. flow properly causing my heat to be low?

and where exactly is that valve located??

Open your hood, stand on the passenger side, look at the firewall right behind the valve cover. There are two hoses about 3/4" that go into the firewall, follow the hoses towards the engine and one will have a small box in it, that is the valve. The box also has a wire going into it, that wire opens and closes the valve.
