Is your sensor bad or did the wiring just break? Had no trouble with removing both ends of mine and soldering it back together. Had already bought and installed a new one but i wish i hadn't, it wasnt cheap.

also, there's a vehicle speed sensor repair kit if yours is malfunctioning...I bought it, installed it and havent had any problems since. I wouldnt buy a used VSS unless it was DIRT cheap since it could go bad at any time. And I would lean against buying a new VSS since the electrical portion is what usually breaks and they're def not cheap!
ACURA LEGEND SPEED SENSOR KIT Part# 06560-PY3-000 $92.28 on acuraoemparts.com I think I paid about the same at my local dealership (+ no shipping charge) the kit replaces the electrical portion and includes everything you need
