2007 National Midwest Legend Meet in Chicago??

I was thinking since we are next a west national meet and a east national meet. We need to have a Midwest Meet. I was thinking duh, Chicago. But I think for future NMWLM meets we should have them in different cities in the midwest like next year in indy or slt etc...

I'll take on organizing most of it.

I think like the other meets we need a track event, probably a 3day thing. i was thinking if the NLM will be moved from memorial day, like they were talking about, we should do it then. I'm not sure about track availability yet, we need to start looking into that. I know tire rack has events often, also in lake geniva wi there is a track which might have an event.

so lets here some feedback, and i'll keep thinking of some ideas also...

*For reference and clarification that this is not an "official" NLARLM event as of yet because the understanding is that there will be TWO NLARM events perse ...one on WEST coast(las vegas-ish) and one on EAST coast(tri-state/Nopi-alanta).

HOWEVER if there is a single meet would would take place most likely in the midwest and chicago is the best choice.

This 07" chicago meet will be a VERY large midwest meet obviously and I invite everyone to come.By then there should be at least 3 very quick and highly modified legends and plenty of fun to go around. There is talk about this being a weekend event as well.

Just to give a heads up to everyone out there. What Alperovich needs to know is WHEN this should be.....Mid-summer or early spring.(So i can make NLARLM-Las Vegas/phoenix one..)

My vote is mid-summer. Spring in Chicago could be a 50/50 on the weather. At least in the summer, we're guaranteed some warm air.
