Arizona Caravan to NLARLM

Mark your calendars for Memorial Day weekend! May 26-28, 2006

We're going to Tulsa, Oklahoma this year.

NLARLM will commence on Friday night, May 26th for dinner. The drive from Phoenix (where I currently live) is about 1,100 miles to Tulsa, or 18 hours per MapQuest. I plan on tentatively leaving on Thursday afternoon or evening or else very early on Friday morning (3:00 a.m. or so) to allow sufficient travel time.

Most of the drive will be spent on I-40 Eastbound, going through Albuquerque, Amarillo, and then on into Oklahoma. If anyone else is located along this route and would like to caravan, post here and include your timeframe and proposed route.

man this sucks i wish i had my legend with me here and you where going a week later im in phoenix right now but my car is back home which is an hour away from tulsa but it has no motor or trans in it right now. and im going that way the next weekend for six weeks to get it going and to hang out with some of my friends in tulsa. o well maybe next year i can cruz with you guys

In case anybody decides to join the caravan (which is just me right now)...

I'm leaving Phoenix this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and driving to Tucumcari, New Mexico that evening (est. arrival 1:00 a.m.). From there, it's only 7 more hours the next day to Tulsa, arriving by early Friday afternoon.
