Just a friendly reminder for those of you not registered yet. The hotel is out of rooms, except for the ones they are holding for us until the end of May. Register now, you are good, wait 'til June, you will be SOL.

ok so sadly to say i know my car will not be making this trip. reason: it is in pieces for a rebuild. i am still trying to make this whole thing work. (i will either be renting a car or borrowing a friends ride). so my question is to searchin4acoupe, if all goes to plan and i am still able to make the trip, i will be leaving from kansas city, when are you leaving from st. louis? i am sure you have already covered this, but i haven't been following along since i am still trying to make this trip work.

Due to the time change, I'll need to be pulling out of 63366 (30 miles West of STL) at 6am CST. That gets us to the meeting point by noon, where we grab a quick bite, gas up and go. 12:30 CST is the goal for leaving Nashville.

ok so just to make sure i would need to leave the kc area by about 2:30 to be on the safe side right? its been a long time since i've been to st. louis. its about 3 hours from here right?

hey i know maybe i'll mapquest it. duh....

cool. mapquest says 3 1/2 hours but depending on what i am driving i am sure i can make it in 3.

If all fails you could ask to share some of the gas $ with another caravan member, and they might let you ride shotgun. There is no reason to rent a car or drive a non legend all the way for 1 person.

this is true but i would still need a vehicle to get from kc to st. louis at the least.

Pay for a friends gas to drop you off and pick you up.

Fine idea. Two comments. 1. I can't offer a ride as I'll already have my wife with me. 2. You are more than welcome to attend regardless of what kind of car you are driving, We lived through Rangerjoe's Armada for two years in a row for Pete's sake.

Cool. Bring anything you want and hunt for other people that want a ride along your way. That will help with the gas at least.
