2008 NALM Casualty List:
Alperovich: output shaft bolt problems on the way down (4cruizn was the hero): Repaired
go92legend: flat tire upon arrival: Repaired
Blackend: blown AT at Auto-X
Alperovich: busted rad hose at Auto-X: Repaired
Alperovich: busted clamp on rad hose in parking lot: Repaired
Alperovich: broken car on drive home

Short of swapping a transmission, most of the repairs we are able to handle on the spot. There will be several very knowledgable Legend-Heads in attendance with just about all the tools needed for most repairs. We've also made contact with the local dealership, who we hope will support us through the entire weekend 24/7. Should have more on that later

+1 /\ I would definitely feel comfortable after seeing the teamwork at NALM08! Between myself, Matt, the a-l group, my mechanic, and the dealership, we have plenty of shop space, tools, and knowledge to take care of any mishaps!

For people who use this highway: Note to Missouri I-64/Hwy 40 Travelers:
Attention: All lanes and entrance ramps of I-64/Hwy 40 will be closed in both directions between Kingshighway Boulevard and I-170 in the St. Louis, MO area. This section of the construction project will be closed from December 15th, 2008 until late 2009 to allow for The New I-64 reconstruction project. Local businesses will remain open during the construction and can be accessed using alternative routing. MapQuest is working directly with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to ensure accurate driving directions in the affected area, but you may wish to verify your route on MoDOT's website, The New I-64 project. For your safety, always obey local construction and detour signs.

I'm 50/50 on going. It's only 7.5 hours from me. Depends how the Legend looks by then

I'm glad you brought this up. If you are passing through St. Louis, just hop on 44 south out of downtown. 44 runs all the way to Springfield. Construction on 40 should be a non-issue.

Edit: Arizona (and all west coast) people - watch the forum for a caravan thread soon.

So close, yet so far. I'll have to work that Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Memorial Weekend at Mo-Kan Dragway). Maybe I could meet up on Monday before you all head out...
