NALM Insurance

Just to ease the fears of anyone going to NALM or thinking of registering last minute, I would like to let all know that while I am not technically "Local", i am less than 100 miles from the NALM site, and have a garage loaded with air, power, and hand tools. I also have a spare 3.2 HG set on hand. Im more than happy to make any and all available to any NALM trekker that has need. Ill even help if you buy the pizza

That is an awsome offer! I live 8 miles from the hotel, and my garage was the first automotive shop on the mountain. The garage is bigger than my house. That is why I picked it. A decent garage is a very rare thing up here. I don't have air though.

Mines not very big, and A/C consists of big blower fans! I figured there would be someone closer who could also offer a little "insurance," but I figured i'd throw it out there in the hopes of getting a couple more attendees.

I do also have the Ericsta (sp?) HG set, which sells for bout $100 shipped, but a week to get here. I couldn't wait and got a felpro one local but it cost me $300 (yikes!) and had clearly been sold to a shop and returned.. and was missing camseals

Do you pass the "Mothership" house on the way to your garage?

What is the "Mothership" house? I bet that is on Signal Mountain, because Lookout is very strict on house design. You do pass Rock City on the way to my house.
