Im continually impressed with the the sense of community here and the dedication to the legend...makes me want my 6spd coupe even more!
I wish clublexus had something like this, but most lexus owners are a$$holes or have very little dedication to their cars...
The rolling shot I had before was by you. The current sig is courtesy of Mark. Racing in the rain is just too bad ass not to share. Makes me look like a real champ even though I was playing it uber safe in the wet.
That video was in the rain? That is nothing compared to the rain on the track at the first NALM. I wore a trash bag as I worked the corners, and still got soaked. I also spun out on almost every lap.
Added: On my fastest lap of the first NALM I crossed the lights sideways. The SCCA guys though I damaged their equipment, bit I didn't touch one cone.

It started drizzling after my first run, then it got to a steady light rain by my second run and went back to drizzle for the third lap. Those were obviously my slowest laps so I ended up only using footage from laps 4-6.

Man do I FEEL your pain. I made a meet in ATL in April and the VERY next day my temp gauge went 'up up and away' into the stratosphere. Turns out the gasket was leaking and it decided to have fun. I guess those near 4 hours driving to and from ATL were the straw and I'm the broken back camel. It's been fun trying to find what I need to get "the Banshee" back to full scream. It'll still run but I'd hate to kill it completely. I wish you success getting back up and at it.
Meanwhile I've been wanting to see all the purdy Acuras and I'm hoping to make 2010. I'd never been to a meet until April and it could have been my one and only. After an 8 year relationship with the Legend I'm NOT letting it end without a FIGHT! Just call me SubZero cause it's going to be cold, ruthless and likely end with a FATALITY! (I just hope its not me OR my pocket!)
