1996 Acura TL 2.5 need info

some one offered my cousin 1996 acura Tl 115xxx miles for $5,900
the car is clean and drives well. anyone here any bad things about this car. he strayed away from the 1990 LS400 which was for sale at a lesser price.

It shares the same or very similar inline 5 engine that the Vigor uses. A good place to learn about this engine is in the Yahoo Legend/Vigor club. I don't know the URL butif you search the yahoo clubs for Acura or Vigor is will show up as the larges Vigor club on the internet I believe.

That is a hell of a price. Make sure maintenance has been kept up and if the interior and exterior are in great shape, then that is a great deal. The engine is nice. I have never driven the 2.5 TL, but I have driven a vigor and they share the same engine. Anyway, I believe there were two trim levels, a regular TL and a TL premium, but I am not sure. Anyway, that price isn't too bad. I would try to negotiate 4.5-5K, but it depends on maintenance and overall condition of the car.
