speedometer is off...most super bikes speedometers are WAY off at those speeds. its just for people to think they are goin that fast.

because at just before revlimit if i remember correctly the Hayabusa's real top speed is something like 183 mph. so, it wouldn't automatically gain that much speed just from the turbo.

doesnt matter if its exactly accurate, our legends are way off once over 100MPH (can be 10-15 off at times)

either way its crazy fast

yea i got that video a while back, its super-crazy. I like the wheelie that ends at 140mph If you notice, when the speedo stops at 220 his RPM's keep going.

the 1998-1999 i believe is before the changed over. the top speed of the newest 1300Rs is only 183mph, but the older ones did not have a limiter, and actually went to above 200mph.

you can tell the older models by the 220mph speedo.

Is it me or does the scenery seem to be moving much slower than the speedo is indicating? The turnarounds in the medians and the lines in the road look like they aren't going more than 100MPH... Maybe I am just seeing things...

i think its just perspective of the camera being right there, in all of the hayabusa videos where they go upwards of 150 or whatever, it never looks like they are going very fast from the cameras point of view...but i dont really see how they could fake the sound, tach, and speedo.......or why.
