for a truck, lightnings are fast as hell, but i'd agree with you and say the supra.

In one of those major car magazines they did an ultimate top speed soot out with cars like Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, Corvette, and the like. The Lightning was fast for a trunk, but it is all down low. In reality it can't get much past speeds over 145 MPH (In stock form). So, it may have a chance in a simple 0-60 or 1/4 mile race, but it stands almost no chance at all in anything longer than that. Eventually many slower accelerating cars could catch it up and pass it.

supra all the way. lightings are quick as much as trucks go...but you have to have some serious power/grip to beat a TT 6 cylinder coupe, with a 6 speed, and wide back tires.

But then again, is the Supra stock or modified. While it is rare to find a stock TT Supra, they are not super fast in stock form. Stock for stock a Lightning might have a chance.

Supra TT's would pull between 5.0-4.6 0-60 in the mags. I would say the Supra would win, and after 100mph, the Supra would start running away.

Yeah, the Lightning is stupid fast for a truck. jeez....

Lightnings are fast as far as FAST goes... My bro in law had a vette and my friend a 2001 lightning.. all i can say is i was like "vette all the way." OMG i was in the lightning ( which had chip, cold air, and nitrous which wasnt used) it was all i could do to pull my balls out of my butt crack after take off GOOD LORD it was fast. Pulled on the vette and then boom hit 3rd and we were gone then hit fourth and here comes the vette. You are right in they dont have much top end but non the less in a 1/4 im not sure... I have not idea what supras are capable of.

It really depends on what mods they each have. It could go either way...

Dont know much about the TT supra, but the lightning should hit REALLY high 13s stock...

I would think that the TT Supra should be real close to a TT 300ZX, so they are low 14s stock... should be a good race, with an edge towards the lightning, because it doesnt have to worry about falling out of boost... :p ... after 1/4 mile, I would have to say Supra, because boost owns
