Acura or Honda?

What do you guys prefer(sp), Honda or Acura. Personally, I would prefer it if my car was an Acura Legend rather than a Honda as I think it sounds better and there are no acuras here in england.
I know they are the same car, but which name and badges would you prefer?(sorry if this is a really dumb post)

i don't see why people do honda conversions.. seems kinda gay to me (not to offend anyone, it just doesn't make sense to me)

people associate ricers with honda more than with acuras. and everyone knows acura > honda in luxury at least and stuff

i lub my 'acura' legend though

i try to be different, so since you say there are not Acuras there, id go w/ Acura...but since there arent many "honda legends" here, and if i felt like dealing with it..id put honda legend just to be different

I would have bought the Legend even if there were no Acura division. I buy cars I like and don't care too much what badge is on it. The problem with Acura is everything on the car says Honda. When you lift up the hood some people wondered why it said Honda Motor Co. on the engine covers. Then you have to explain to them that the car really is just a Honda and Honda created a new luxury division called Acura for the North American market and a few other places. Some people really don't know that Acura is indeed a Honda. Just like how people don't realize Lexus is a Toyota. However, at least in 2001 I believe Lexus started putting more Lexus stickers and etches in the glass instead of Toyota which they had before.

Anyway, I wish Honda never created the Acura division. The cars themselves are the same great cars whether it is a Honda or Acura, but I wish the car bared the same name as Soichiro Honda. When I watch F1 I see Honda. When I watch other motorsports I see Honda. The engines in our cars are Honda engines. The car is built by Honda. Everytime I buy a part the parts bag says Honda. Sometimes the same part is shared by other Honda cars and are cheaper at the Honda dealer than the Acura dealer. Americans love status and are willing to pay higher prices for the same product just because they feel they are higher level product.
