Well it has to do with after school sports,( No connection with the school).There were 18 girls that had practiced & played games throughout the season.Nov. thru March. They play in tournaments on the weekends,usually split into 2 teams.This tournament was in April,at least 6 weeks after the girls were done practicing & playing,with only 10 girls playing.I would assume that the other 8 girls were not informed or invited to play either. Basically, 8 of the girls on the teams were not invited, nor even told about this tounament, and found out about it after the 10 who played were pictured in the local Newspaper, and teased by the girls who did play.

My wife is super pissed off and is wondering if we should talk to an Attorney about legal action.

Or is there nothing that can be done here?

from previous posted pix, you don't look like a slouche (sp?).....why don't you have an ahem ahem "man to man" talk with the coach on the side, after hours? I think if he understood your position, maybe you'd get what you were looking for

Meh stroke 6 years ago pretty much screwed me there. I suppose my Glock might do the trick.

Your only chance at a case is proving that someone only invited certain people from the team. A team is a team, and leaving members out usually breaks the team contract. At the same time, I remember my sister being bribed to switch to a vollyball team that was going to Nationals. She switched and they won, but she was never not told of any game.

im sure school sports does not include signing contracts stating you must be involved in every team practice/events (correct me if im wrong, but i never sign one when i played sports, beside medical paper work). it more or less boils down to the decision of the couch on deciding who get to play and who get to warm the bench. but thats pretty fu*k up that the other girls are shield out from the team.

No contract I know of. But yeah, could have at least asked everyone if they wanted to attend, and either played em or not played em. That's still better than just not even bringin it up at all to 8 of 18 kids!

bring it up with the school board, i am sure that violate some kind of school/sport ethics.

I thought you said this was a non-school affiliated sports league. Most of them have team contracts that the parents have to sign.
