Anyone owned a Subaru SVX?
I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about these cars. I may be considering one for the wife and I want to know about any problems I should look for and any criticism about them.
Here is the ad for the car I looked at yesterday. ksl.com - KSL Car Classifieds

Impossible to find parts for them. Only available in auto. Windows are fucked up. Ugly car. Often referred to as a "Lesbian Car". Was in the book "The World's Worst Cars."
I like em.

I have not heard good things about them. They are definitely unique cars and on paper they sound like they have a lot of potential *may be harder/more expensive/more rare to find parts for than even a Legend though*.The mid-90s were pretty crappy for Subaru I'd say, minus the Impreza. However I tend to associate Subaru with their four-cylinder cars and their current lineup of vehicles is pretty solid.

^Nope. They be heavy and AWD really drains engine power.

My wife bought a 2002 TT 225 Roadster, Quattro, 6spd. Excellent performance, on and off track, fuel economy is OK, 21-25 average, maybe better if it were me driving it.
It's incredibly tiny - perfect for most women.I should have taken some pictures at the track. Well here is what it looks like, but ours is Lake Silver. ![]()

lol @ "I believe austinforrester does. he has a subaru as his signature"
they are rare cars, weird windows, but i had the privilege see this one in person, it was mint. ![]() they are quick with the right mods. AWD might suck power away, if it does, its made up by the stick-to-the-roadness of the AWD system. It can sacrifice some power for no wheel spin. We dont burnout, we just GO |

Yes it's a Maxima.

I've seen a few, some guy down the street from my owned one. Was considering trying to buy it off him a long time ago.
I like em but they're not really for me.
