Anyone see the news, about the rare Ferrari that was totalled?

They were showing video, the guy who was driving it for the show Top Gear, around a course. He lost control, and ends up totaling the 1.5 MILLION $ Ferrari ENZO. Wonder how the owner's takin it.

in the video he stated that a cone got stuck in the wheel well and locked up the tires causing him to run into the wall because he couldnt turn

Either a really expensive publicity stunt or dumb ass was jealous that he could never afford one

The Enzo, valued at around $1.5 million, was owned by the executive producer of "Redline," Daniel Sadek, whose exotic car collection is featured in the movie. Sadek said that the car was damaged beyond repair and that he had "mixed feelings" about the wreck.

"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK, but my dream car got destroyed," Sadek said. "I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, there's people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world."

i bet he said that with gritted teeth
but man... too many super rich people tearing these cars to pieces... i bet a good 5-10% of enzos have been trashed/crashed/totalled... which is a ton considering only 400 were made. what a shame...

Well way i see it.. if it was his dream car then why let another person behind the wheel of it? stupid people with too much money, IF i had my dream car only person allowed behind the wheel would be me, hell my 88 legend is FAAAR from that price tag as we all know and i STILL am the only one allowed behind the wheel of it..... so i gotta laugh at both of them.

Very good point! im sure Jay Leno wouldnt let anyone drive one of his many cars. but then again, the Enzo is very rare so thats another reason why not to let anyone else drive it, cause anything can happen, which did.

Idiots all around. First they purposely total a perfectly good Carrera GT for the movie (also the producers car - he said he didn't "like" it anyway). Now they f-up an Enzo for a promotional event. All for a freaking B-level movie that looks like it should've gone straight to DVD or cable.

What kind of idiot puts large concrete barriers right next to a race track where amatures are driving $1 mil cars!?!?! IDIOTS!!!

If it were me I would've, first, NEVER let anyone drive my Enzo and, second, put huge open run off spaces all around the track so stupid mistakes such as EddieG understeering like a madman wouldn't result in $1mil down the toilet!!!

The movie looks like a POS anyway! And the acting is worse than F&F!

There is older footage on the net of a similar autocross mishap involving a Ferrari F50 where it actually takes out a track worker and then falls down into a pit RIGHT NEXT TO THE COURSE!!! Who was the genious who put the course next to a deep pit!

It goes to show that money can't buy you brains...
