no, not exactly...as far as I understand, a MO is just like cash.....not really traceable...

Well over a week ago, I discussed purchasing an OEM KA7 Spoiler off "koolkid". Well after receiving pictures via e-mail I went ahead and sealed the deal. I mailed him an M.O. after he gave me his address. Ever since then, I haven't heard a word from the guy. I've PM'd him and e-mailed him a couple times now. I've also noticed that he's been "active" on the forums the past two days now, which makes me wonder why he doesn't respond to my messages.

I'm not trying to give this guy a bad rep but I really need some sort of indication that this deal is still going as planned.

Has anyone else done business with or even talked to him before?

I don't want to be mean but it's been nearly a week now with no response.

It appears so! And having now really looked at the spoiler it does not appear to be OEM as it was originally advertised....but at least its the right color and in decent shape.

Yep. Especially if it's a USPS MO. If you don't ship the goods even after he's cashed the MO it's considered mail fraud. Postal Inspectors make US Marshalls and FBI agents look like fluffy bunnies!

Im still expecting my fog light switch I bought from him... I just sent him the money not long ago via money order and now Im jsut playing the waiting game....

What are the chances he had 2 spoilers? And the fact that Jsteed received his shit?

For the record, I had a less than expected transaction with him too.

He did respond to my PM's and everything and sent the parts out in fair time.

Unfortunately, the parts were unusable and in bad condition. I was purchasing headrest monitors from him. When I got them in the mail, the monitors had bare wire leads coming from them, instead of a plug, which would plug into the harness (which also didnt come with the monitors). I was now forced to try and "guess" which wire was which and dissassemble the whole monitor. No go, nothing works. I have three monitors, none of them have the wiring to hook them up to power or a video source. I understand he removed them from his totaled car and didnt have the time to get everything, but I was told they had everything ready to go. Unfortunately I totally wasted my money and still have a box of his stuff sitting in my room and I dont know what Im gonna do with it.

Well if he has two spoilers he can explain that to me if he ever replies to anything I sent him over the past 10 days. I don't take chances on anything especially my money. Yes, the only way I was able to get my money back was because he hadn't cashed my money order yet. If he tries it'll be considered a fraud check I assume?

Last time I had an incident like this, they said there was nothing they could do when it appeared to be lost in the mail.

I think I simply got lucky. I went to my bank this afternoon with my M.O. receipt and asked the lady to cancel the money. She called a couple different numbers and next thing you know she says my money order has been canceled. When and if he tries to cash it it won't pass at his bank. So I get my money credited back in my account in 2-3 days. I win! haha
