That's BS (not you, what they said). The funds are protected. That was the original point of the money order anyway, iirc. I called when I had my issues.

Yes they can cancel/refund or replace lost money orders:

USPS - Damaged, Lost or Stolen Money Orders

USPS MO's? As long as they're an "authorized" reseller then yes.

They might have some protection, but nothing beats the USPS.

Well mine has already been canceled, if he does in fact have two spoilers I'd like him to ship first this time around. Obviously I'm good for the money and willing to send it on time.

Correct. You already extended your trust once and it was not returned. It's his turn to do the trusting now.

I work at a bank, all you need is the receipt and as long as the MO hasn't hit his account the day it is canceled, it can be refunded. receipt is the key though

I hate seeing more of these threads, but i think they are required, as we have to police our own and hold people accountable to the group...

b/c the guilty may not care at the momment that they cannot come and ask for advice, buy, sell, trade, BS, etc,...but they will, and when they do return, snub them cruelly...other than to let them know they are the problem.

as there are some great folks here who really go out of there way to do what they say and say what they do...and we should play to their positive efforts and not the idiot one off's of someone who made a mistake and now is to embarrassed & can't own up...

so grow up and honor "the AL family" or just get the fuck outta here...
