Avoid Geico like the plague.....

I've been with Geico since March....

There are questions regarding the first accident, but oh well it will eventually get resolved.

Well, they finally resolved the second one, found coverage to be acceptable and subsequently have cancelled my policy.

FYI they do not know about the third one yet.

They cancelled it because it was a total loss on the car. Not because it was a second accident.

It was cancelled because I could have "Avoided" the retread, even though the officer did not give me a ticket because this wasn't the first time the retread had been sitting in that section of road and hard to see.

And because it was a total loss on the vehicle.

On this one I'm calling BS. If they had said it was over a second accident, which would have made me angry but I would have understand, that would have been one thing.

But giving the excuse and reason they did is enough for me.

that sux, my dad had his insurance cancelled over a ticket. it was his first in a while like over 5yrs clean and then he got a ticket for speeding and bam cancelled. also i had it cancelled once over an accident but it wasn't a total loss, it was my first accident ever and wasn't even that bad.

I highly recommend Progressive was with them for a while (still am for my bike, not car though) and was involved with a few issues and they always took care of me quick and with out problems, i would still be with them for my car but my parents switched to Farmers becuase they give a discount if you do home and auto and it was cheaper then progressive.

I highly recommend Allstate.

How to file claim with Allstate:

- Take car to a shop that works with Allstate
- Pick up car in a week

I like!

Yeah, I'm already talking to them. The gal who rear ended me has allstate.

I was going to call her local guy and got his number but they were closed until 9AM that morning.

At 8:55AM I recieved a call from Allstates claim service.

The meeting with the estimator is next week.

Rental car for the whole time the car is in the shop.

Injury part already opened....

They have really gone 150% on this IMO.

At the moment I care more about "Quality" than cost. I thought Geico had the quality since they have such high ratings.

I guess it's time to stop trusting JD powers.
