I am still reeling from our church service this past Sunday. Our Pastor brought in a guest speaker. To make a long story short , he tore it up. God's presence was so strong in that service,we had 2 visitors receive the Holy Ghost. One was a middle age woman and another was a 12 year old girl. One thing is for sure, in these last days, God is pouring out of his spirit upon all flesh. Young and Old. Man it feels good to be a Holy Ghost filled Christian!!!!!!!!!

Man, I have SO many testimonies to share. I actually ministered to two ladies this morning. They told me it really blessed them to realize that they DO deserve the best. Yes, the Holy Spirit was talking through me and nailing issues that they knew they were avoiding. One of the ladies actually said "Oh My Goodness - Get Out of My Head!". She said this in a good way. Praise God.

Praise God, it is very needed at this point in time. So much is happening in the world in the name of religion and politician using religion as a means to an end.

"We definately need an outpour upon us all." The world definately needs the Spirit of God. I was just talking to a friend of mines younger brother and telling him to "get his life right". He's on this neo-soul music kick now, because he said rap was too harsh for him - I think he is getting there, but he even said that a lot of things are getting mixed up nowadays and he cant tell the different between church people and everybody else sometimes

It's gonna be the Holy Spirit that make the difference and that is what is needed.

The 9/11 hijackers didnt have the holy spirit in them. They CLAIMED to have it. But what God, even if you dont believe in the Christian concept, glories in the destruction of countless lives, both immediate and residual.

Everybody may call Lord, Lord, but that doesnt mean they are Christians or Born Again Believers. I can SAY I am a billionaire, but if I do not bare any fruits of one, how is that true?

Galatians 5:19-25 NIV

Just to enlighten you about Real World today christians - not the guys who try to bible bash you.

We BELIEVE in the entire bible, however, we are what I call New Testament Christians. A Quick Lesson:

In the old testament - man had to atone for his own sins against God and that involved sacrificing lambs and other rituals and such. Only then he was a Just and Righteous person.

Because of this God, at times, was a wrathful God - wouldnt you be if everytime you told your children to do something they did something different. Disobedient.

HOWEVER - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, WITH AND OPEN MIND -

In the new testiment, After the Birth, the Life, the Death and the Resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, we no longer have to do our own sacrificing and atoning of sins - Jesus was sacrificed in place of all of that and all we have to do now is accept that act and we are forgiven for our sins against God. That's why Jesus is called the Lamb of God or the Perfect Sacrifice.

As far as the vengeful, wrathful God.
Romans 8:33-34 says:
33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Basically - Jesus is sitting next to God and saying "I know they are a bunch of sinful, disobedient children, but give them a chance, they can be sweet and nice and good."

Translated in real world application for me: I dont have to worry about every little mistake I make or if I get angry or do something non christian like that God is going to strike me down and kill off my family if I dont sacrifice a lamb, I ask for forgiveness and keep it moving - works for me big time.

We receive the Holy Ghost the same way as the first church did in the book of Acts. Paul says it like this:

Acts 19

1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Peter put it this way:
Acts 2:36-41

36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Whether received before or after baptism, the Holy Ghost is a gift from God. We must believe and repent of our sins and we will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost as the Spirit gives the utterance.

The hijackers did not believe in the God of the Jews, who was known as Jehovah in the Old Testament, or as we know him: Jesus. Thus, they did not have the Holy Spirit in them. First of all, to receive the Holy Spirit you must have faith and believe in Christ Jesus. Second, it is commanded that you repent of your sins. The Spirit of God will neither enter nor reside in an unclean temple.

As far as the crusaders go, their Christianity was a phony and a fake. Their motives were driven by politics. They did not follow the Gospel to conversion. The crusaders were interested in popularity, money, and power alone.

God does not glory in the destruction of man. However, He is a God of Wrath and Love. He is a just God and a merciful God. From Eve to Noah and to this very day we were designed to make our own choices. We can either follow the law of God and reap the blessings, or we can disobey the law of God and reap the curses. The awesomeness of His love is that He the creator became His creation for our redemption. We have the choice.

BTW, everyone needs to read "sinners in the hands of and angry god" as non religious i am i thought that was a interesting read.
