Damn Jeff, i know how you feel, ive had my run ins with the law, so i know what stress your feeling, my case was in court for a whole year before anything settled.

Keep your head up, it doesnt sound like they have any SOLID evidence. IF they still want to prosecute, ask for Jury trial, no jury in the land would find you guilty man, just tell them the straight facts.

Good Luck Homie, once this blows over, ill come drive down to SA for a night!

Your friend who let them into his house waived his rights when the cops asked him if they could go into his house. Sorry, but that's how it is, they just have to ask. Cops are sneaky fucks.

I think you will probably beat the charge if your lawyer is good. GL. Sorry about the BS.

P.S. This is in Denver, right? That place is turning into NYC really fast.

Now dont get me wrong I was a MA in the Navy (navy police) and I always cut people breaks, I never f'd anyone over either, and My uncle is a Leiutenant in the NYPD and my cousin is a deputy sheriff. My cousin is in his 3rd year on the force and tells me all the time that their are officers who plant stuff on people cuz they "deserve to be locked up" because they "look like scum" c'mon man thats messed up. But ur boy did give up his rights so hes fecked! But you gota remember cops are not there to help you, they say things like "now help me out ill help u out, you dont wanna go to jail do you?" But in reality they arent their to help you only to help convict you. Their job is to get as much evidence on you as possible, so if you ever get into trouble, keep your mouth shut, and say nothing. But good luck man, Im gonna be prayin for you. Id hate to know there is an innocent man sitting in jail for helping out a friend, sh!t happens, but it all makes us stronger and wiser in the end. So try not to worry, Im sure you will be fine! but GL anyways. And keep us posted

You are right, I was mistaken.

After reading it over (no matter how fucked up it seems) the cops seemed to have followed constitutional protocol.

But I think you were charged for the 2nd one because your friend snitched on you for a lighter sentence.

"My friend who originally got busted with pills (and I suspect the pills they claim I had are actually the ones they pulled from his house. ILLEGALLY) has already been on porbation & gotten off while my case is still pending...."

No hard evidence to suggest it but I'm guessing from experience.

Nah, that's not what happened. We have seperate charges. My charge is dated in June, whereas his charge that he went to court for was dated in April....

I went to court today........

And it's reset again. Until October.

I need to talk to my lawyer, because when I spoke to her last she said this date was a motion for discovery. I left her a message today, but didn't hear from her.....
