After further inspection, I've come to the conclusion that that guy's buttocks were composed entirely of sandpaper.

The butt part of my drivers seat looks about like that. I haven't lifted the seat cover up enough since I bought the car to see if the rest of the seat looks bad. At least most of his pad is still there. Mine is disappearing slowly. Oh, and I have a nice aluminum broom handle for a hood prop.
