Getting a new toy...

I decided to buy the Canon Powershot A70 to replace my A20. My mother is giving me 50 bucks to take the old camera off my hands. I can't wait, it should be here in a week. It does 3 minute movies with audio, 3.2megapixel, and all kinds of features. It cost just under $300, shipped. I paid over $400 to buy the A20 at best buy about 2.5 years ago.

I already have a 256mb CF card, and I ordered some rechargeable NiMh batteries. I hadn't heard about them until I did some research. Anyone use these in your digi cam, pda, etc? I use rechargeable alkalines in my current digicam and it eats them. I get like 20 pictures max. Less if i'm using the display.

I owned a Canon for a couple of days. Nice cameras, just not as user friendly as Sony (or I'm just dumb, either way). I just sold my Sony U-30 2mp camera....and picked up a Sony P3 3.2mp camera which does video and sound also, tho it is very poor quality

My Mom just got a Sony P10 5mp camera, the video quality on that is amazing!!

thats cool man...i have the sony v-1...its 5.0 mp and alot of more stuff i'll never use. have fun with the camera
