I just got home from work, today we got all the freight done wayyy early so we got to go home at 4am instead of 6. apparently, that happens like once a year so i guess i'm really lucky lol... Its only my 3rd day on the job and they trained me on the reach lift and the order picker tonight, damn those are cool as hell but i'm scared i'm gonna drop a pallet of paint or glass doors or some crap and kill myself or somebody. the order pick goes up like 25 feet or something rediculous like that and you're just standing on it swaying back and forth a couple feet. good times! anyway.. i am just a little bored since everyone i know went to sleep hours ago. anyone else work nights? hopefully i'll find a daytime job by the time school starts again

That sounds like fun. Hopefully it's paying a decent amount of money. I thought about working at Home Depot or Lowe's, but my boss gave me a raise and a few more hours.

yeah they started me out at a decent amount and 40 hrs a week, which is cool as hell but it still sucks because its home depot. (evil corporation) apparently they paid out like $4 billion in suits last year because sooo many people died from falling stuff in the store.. just a little fact that scares me

ha night work isnt that bad, i work as a night stocker so i work from 10 pm to 7 am, versus anything short of plant of factory work, i get paid $$$$$$.

Yeah I do some order pulling at Georgia Crown on occasion. We move mostly alcohol to the entire metro Atl area. A typical night starts around 6:00 and ends around 7:00 or 8:00 am. Last Wednesday we went from 6:00pm to 10:00am. But it's just a little temp job that I do when I need some loot.
