Insight on the "nice guy" - Page 6

All ppl i'm at a cross roads here, I"m been datin this chic for like 6 mos. She wanted to calm down and not get into a serious relationship. I'm a little disappointed

! She's still attracted/interesed in me as I am w/ her. She told me she still dates other ppl ( which is a surprise to me this whole time we've been datin BEEEEYAAA

) We hook up one night had some drinks and talked about all this, I told her i was cool and i didn't mean to get too serious on her, she was cool w/ that. But I didn't mention the part about her tellin me she was datin other ppl b/c she might have gotten the verbal assault and that would have ended everything. But i know i really like her cuz we click really well. Some might have seen my thread on this chic "Girlfriend too perfect"

So my question is should i continue seeing her/askin her out being the "nice guy" or Walk away and hope she realizes that i'm the "ONE" and come to her senses??

Females encouraged to reply !! but all advice is welcome !

see other people aswell! shes seeing other people, so why dont you? If she wants to be in a serious relationship with you and stops seeing other people, then stop seeing other girls yourself. Dont waste your time just on her because there is always the chance another guy shes seeing can win her heart. its happened to me tooo many times, you might find someone better...like i said before "the next girl is alot better looking, has a better personality, etc, girls just get replaced!

Damn this thread has taken off! Just copied and pasted it from and email i received and it has become a legend phenomenon....it is great to see both gender's reaction to this claim made by the guy (I don't even remember his name)

I like girl>I "try" to talk to girl>Things don't seem to work well>I give up after a while>Look for new girl to fail with

evilprincess was bang on with her take on this thread. sometimes chick's are aholes too. case in point,for years i was that good guy who was allways "there" for a certain girl,she was the prettiest girl on the block but she had this thing for aholes like you would not believe! she would get embarrassed by the same d..k wad all the time in front of every one.i made it a point to be there for her, even got into a fight with the ahole.i told her that this guy only wanted to abuse her and that he would never care for her.i think by this time it was obvious that i was crazy about her.but all she wanted was a FRIEND to be there when she needed one. well it all came to a head one day when the ahole went too far.i found her in tears and i did my best to comfort her. i think that she finally realized that i really cared about her felling's and that i was not out to get her in bed like all the other guy's. well.. she never did go steady with me but all the "being there for her" really touched her.emotions were pretty high that night i guess.and while i held her we just started to kiss,and the rest, well..you can imagine.i feel bad about what happened i feel that i took advantage of her at a time when she needed compassion. but she kissed me first..we remain good friends to this day.she wound up getting married to the biggest geek on the block who spends all his time at home in front of the computer. and she could not be happier. now i wonder what would happen if i upgraded to a better computer system........
