I bought a PCMCIA modem card from Verizon. $40/month and I have my own internet connection everywhere all the time as long as im in an area with a verizon network. Itravel ALOT and its one of the best things Ive ever bought myself. Bandwidth is usually around 720k Down and about 128k Up.

iphone u use for a long time. $8 for a few hrs of internet is annoying. I was pissed off having to pay $10/day to use the internet when i was in vegas.

I'd go near the airline VIP lounges. Many times they have free WiFi that they don't block off to non-VIP passengers.

1- when i saw the title of the thread i thought u got stripped down check at security point or even cavity search

anyways. i usualy have my cell (treo 700w) and i got a software called pdanet where i can connect to the internet. i got speed up to 100kbps download while on the road.

check if iphone has that feature

if its internet for company stuff, charge it back to them.
if it's random stuff that probably could have waited... then oh well, too bad i guess. but honestly, i think $8 for being productive for 3 hours is very little.
