I have been a member of the hondaprelude site since it was created 3.5 years ago. I just recently went to log on to find that the site had been shut down by the founder. The site apparently got too expensive and too complex for him to maintain. Although it's not a legend site like this one it was none the less a honda site where owners could go and share their rides and comments as well as help on subjects with fellow owners. I am sad to see the site go for I am a honda prelude owner as well as a legend gs owner. This just goes to show that all good things do and eventually will come to an end. I just pray that this site is available for many years to come for all of us to come and share the joys and pitfalls of owning the legend known as the acura legend. So now I must say farewell to one of my well resprected friends hondaprelude.com. I now however get too spend more time with another well respected friend acura-legend.com.

 

Nothing like that would ever happen here, or at least not as long as the core group of people here are around. If for some reason Matt ever decided to sell his car, or not run the forums, I'm sure that he would pass the responsibility on to someone else.

a lot of forums have been shut down in the last couple of weeks because they have talk of where to go to street race, you know, spots and times. i'm not saying that is why the prelude forum got shut down...that sucks though, just like if ours was gone. what year 'lude do you have? just wondering because my friend has an 87 with minor work (rims and intake) but wants to do more but doesn't know where to look. he found a suspension setup, anything else would help.

welcome, if it cost to be on this forum, i wouldnt mind paying a small fee.
Preludes are tight my friend is just starting to hook up his car wit looks after having it for 3 years. I test drove a 98 lude before i got my legend, their quick for the 4 cylinders.
