Manhunt

Anybody played this gem of a game? Made by Rockstar North (the same people who brought us the GTA series so you know this'll be a controversial game) there are people everywhere who piss and moan about the content (this REALLY should be an Adults Only game) but I want to know what you guys think.

If you've never heard of it, the basic premise of Manhunt is that you're a convict who was sentenced to death, but insted of lethal toxins, some corrupt guards gave you powerful sedatives and sneaked you out, with everybody watching thinking you're dead. Now you're put into an abandoned part of Carcer City with people hunting you down for fun.

Its actually a quite ingenius game because you have to be stealthy, because trying to take these guys on in a fight is near impossible. 9/10 times they WILL kick your ass, so you have to be smart about your attacks.

However, as with all good games, Manhunt has its drawbacks. The content is really all I mean here, in that F-Bombs are commonspeak, and when you execute someone, its more graphic then some Hollywood movies. ex. If you use the plastic bag to kill someone, you sneak up behind them, put their bag over their head, and while ignoring their muffled screams, you punch them in the face repeatedly (blood spurting all the while) until they pass out, then snap their neck. Gruesome eh'?

So what do you guys think of it (if you've played it)?

Hell no, not at all. It's good for you I say. I mean, think of it this way. All the things you can't do in real life you can do in the game. I mean, cmon' all this stuff I wouldn't never consider doing in real life. So the game lets me do it and it's usually a helluva stress relief.

I remember after breaking up from a long, long relationship I was very depressed and sad for some time. I would fire up GTA2 and just run people over, smash things up, etc... total stress relief.
