Meguiars NXT wax review

This stuff is awesome especially for the darker colors. I used some today and decided to see if i could tell the difference it made on a trunk that i had used some other polymer paint sealant (no name brand that Mastervtec hooked me up with) The nxt made it look like night and day. It made the paint looker richer and shiner, and smoother than a baby's bottom. Also it made swirl marks MUCH less visible. I also noticed after that the line i was using (a vertical scratch mark) disappeared after i finished off my trunk. I didn't do any pretreatment since i clayed it last week.

Overall 9/10. It went on easily and came off so much cleaner/easier then a carnuba. You guys should try this stuff out.

Tomorrow i am going to try to add a layer of Meguiars #16 MG on top as suggested by some of the autopia.org guys. I'll post results.

I was going to use NXT on my black del Sol this weekend, but it kept raining on and off here, and then it got butt-cold again. I keep reading nothing but good stuff about it, I'm dying to try it!

You'll love it. Doesn't look like i am going to be able to add #16 to the top because its going to rain.

One more thing: make sure you leave the wax on long enough! People on autopia said that it streaks if you take it off too soon. I didn't have any problem with 20mins.

That's because the polymer is used as a heavy duty protectant and not something to bring out the lustrious shine...so, on a dark car...I guess I would go for shine more , but for my Pearl White....the sun makes it shine already so I protect it with the polymer more....and carnuba in between.

^NXT is a polymer, not a carnuba. Also the stuff you gave me worked well but it made so much white dust.
