Hey before you do anything else can I persuade you to apply some 19' HRE's on that puppy...
The G35 coupe is most surely one of the hottest cars out right now more so than the Z' IMO If I was familyless that would be the only car I would trade my legend in for.

Are they selling below MSRP yet? I wanted to get a 350Z, but the wife says we need back seats, so now I want a G35 coupe 6MT. They are nice cars.

No I've not heard of anyone getting a coupe for below MSRP. That's not to say that it cannot be done. Especially considering the '04s should be coming in a month or two and they'll probably want to be clearing any '03s off of the lot (most dealers don't have coupes on the lot for very long anyways).
One approach you can use is to search the infiniti.com website for dealer inventories at your closest 5 or 10 dealers. When you find multiple coupes "in-stock" and not "pre-sold" you could set the dealers up to compete against each other for your business. Beware that in some major metro areas multiple dealers may be managed by the same owner so it would not be in your best interest to make anything up. You may be able to get them to remove any dealer surcharges (which can be over $500) and possibly discount part of the tax by incorporating it into the MSRP (which I guess, technically, would be a discount off of MSRP). Are you trading anything in? If you are I wouldn't mention it until you get the new vehicle price set otherwise they could use it to their advantage. It may also be better if you sold your used vehicle yourself on AutoTrader.com or the like. P.S. To RenoG I plunked down for the performance wheel pkg on the car which already upgraded it to 18"s with unidirectional performance rubber so I think I'll be keeping them for a while.

Thanks for the info, Koji. When I was looking at the Z, I was able to get dealers down about $500 to $1000 below MSRP on a base model Z. I figure I should be able to do the same with a G35 coupe. There are so many dealers in Socal.

Keep in mind that they are making many more Z's than G coupes. Most of the dealers in my area have a pretty good selection of Zs on the lot but the G coupes are pre-order only (2-3 month wait).

Congrats Koji !!!
Looks great... actually, after I sell the IS, I'm going to get a G35 and do an RB swap. I know it can be done, but we need to do a little homework. Quote:

My friends parents both got new infiniti's like 2 years ago. The dad has a qx4 and the mom has a i35. Soon, there gonna trade those in and get a g35 and a fx35. My favorite infiniti right now is the M45, to me its like a M5 detuned a little and costs $40k less. Infiniti is hottttttt hot hot right now!

great looking car.........my LS Coupe is now Ten Years old. The only thing it hasn't done that I asked for is run without gas! Granted technology has allowed the G35 to have some 'better' issues but it ain't a LEGEND. Also to be determined is how many of them will still be on the road 10-15 years from now.....I don't see too many 240z's or 300's out there....howcum? All in all they're all great cars, its just that one is and has been for quite some time a LEGEND. The other.... I guess we'll have to wait and see whats duh deal in 2014.
