My new toy (Porsche 944 Turbo)

Getting rid of my legend was pretty tough for me. I put a lot of hard work and effort into that car. The amount of knowledge I gained is priceless. I still respect the Legend when I spot one on the road.
The shift from Acura to Porsche is quite dramatic. The two cars are obviously completely different. Anyways... I've owned this car for about 20 days now. I'm slowly getting used to the car and have troubles avoiding spooling up the turbo. It is VERY addictive. The car is running just under 300rwhp and close to 330 torque.

Acura-Legend.com is a great site. I've met a lot of cool people and made quite a few friends. I still check this site daily and will continue to help those who need it.

A few pictures of the beast:

Thanks for the comments guys. The cars handling is amazing. Lets just say when your at the track, there are usually a few of these leading the pack. Next on the mod list will be larger injectors, MAF and a turbo upgrade. That will bring me into the 400rwhp range. After that internal work will be needed to head into the 500-600power band range. But I don't need that much power.
The price on these vary. One sold recently on ebay for 26k. A more realistic price for a quality 944 turbo is 12-14k. But, you can get non turbo ones for around 4-5k. I paid a decent amount for mine. Not going to say though
I believe the shifter is stock.

I remember I was going to pick up my daughter one day, and I pulled off fast from the light and got it around 3000rpm and you could here the intake, it was pretty cool out too. once I got it to 50mph I let off and I seen this red 944 behind me I guess he heard the engine.

We pull off from the next light and I did the samething again wasn't racing, and I guess he thought I wanted to race. So he hurried up and pulled in front of me to make this on ramp and I sped up some and took the turn just like he did I just like feeling how the car take a few g forces(laughing) dude still thought I wanted to race next thing I know I see a finger thur the rear window doing the no no no thing, thing that had me laughing dude had on some black leather driving gloves, I was thinking who and the heck still wears driving gloves, He went all the way back to 1987. Next thing I know he blast off and I was already turning off making my exit.

Excellent version...makes me miss my old '44. I went the other way...I got rid of the 944 for a Legend. Mine wasn't nearly as nice as that one, but I loved it all the same. Congrats on a very clean car...

Always wanted a 968 turbo conversion, but I would love a mint red 944 '89 Turbo S.

Driving gloves are awesome.
