Angry Need to get something off my chest

Worst fecking week ever.. first i find out my girlfriend is moving to Cali, so im like shiet thats never gonna work cuz we all know long distance relationships do NOT work, then i get all excited because i think that i am going to be getting a nice sedan with a manual tranny and come to find out my mom has to buy it, but she is never gonna buy my car and especially the car that i want. She said that she is not going to buy me a car when i get my license right away cuz she doesnt trust me, so i said feck you to that and left the house cuz i was so pissed, find out last night that my work is letting a bunch of people go and i could be one of them.. Well i have been working there since last summer and do a Damn fine job when working and taking care of business, i have a gas powered RC car that got ran over by some dumb fuck who was going about 50 in my neightborhood. and to top it all off, i have to go to the hospital next thursday! what a shitty week, the only two things i hope for is my girl to stay here and that i get the legend that i want, but i am pretty fecking sure thats not gonna happen because yet again my mother fails to see that i would much rather has some more metal around me so if i get hit i wont die, like in a small car such as an integra or civic. * sigh of reliefe* thanks for listening to the rant, i didnt want anything to happen at home cuz i dont wanna get kicked out which damn near happened a week ago.. so i had to come somewhere to talk

Thanks guys

Ian

sucks to say but you might have to start out with a different whip...kiss your mom's ass and walk a straight line for a while. Then if the whole trust thing settles...you save up some beans, find a Legend you want, work out the details, present it all to your mom....and then maybe she'll see the light

I remember those days though for sure...my super A+++ older sister got an '87 Honda Accord LXi coupe, black on tan...and it was the showroom model (had EIGHT miles on it). Umm, yea she got that ON HER 16TH BIRTHDAY but complained b/c she wanted a Prelude

Me being just an honor roll student and b/c I was the boy who had to learn certain responsibilities quicker (WT EFFFF), I was forced to buy my dad's Buick LeSabre. Despite all my efforts for months and months, I could not get them to change my mind. I tried everything...and I mean everything. Oh and I paid BLUE BOOK PRIVATE VALUE for that Buick....every friggin PENNY, lol

Dude, that's rough. Hope whatever you're going to the hospital for is not too serious? As for the car GOAZ has a point about using the 'nice' schtick instead of the PO'd approach! And as always A-L.com will be hear to calm you after the storm!

Dude, you are having a car purchased for you. Shut your pie hole and enjoy.

I wish someone would have bought me my first car, no matter what it was.

I had an '87 box accord. Actually I had quite a few cars in high school. It wasnt til I got 2 college and bought my 1st car i realized the true value and importance of a car and its maintenance. A legend is not a good 1st car. Maint is a killer. As some1 else said in the past "owning a legend and affording a legend is 2 diff things." try a civic or teg. Maint is lower and parts are in abundance. Not to discourage u from buying the car we all love on this forum, but ur mom may be saving u hella money in the long run.

thats true words but i am still looking for a legend or a teg right now.but my first car was a legend but come to think of it that shit cost money to drive.i just sold mine to matt after i crash it but i could have gotten fix but i was like lets cut the ties i got with this legend it was hard but i had to so now i have no car and trying to find a nice legend is looking for a needle in a haystack.i was easy for me to maintain cuz i had a nice job at depot which most people dont know is that they dont pay minimum wage. but i think i found my legend ifs its not too late.
