chevy astro van. Around 6+ civics and integras were stolen from my area this week. A guy on my local forum found this van staring at his car and chased it down. Can someone please lookup the plates asap. thanks

smart of the thieves, scope out the place in a car that isn't easily traced. I'm sure if you found out what rental company and date of the occurrence, and then find out who had that van that day. your best bet is to keep an eye out for parts on craigslist and ebay (these people don't really have chop shops that they sell out of anymore, they do most of it on craigslist.

make sure that a police report was filed for both the suspicious vehicle (and mention the fleeing when your friend drove towards them), as well as the thefts. hopefully those bastards get caught, greed usually does that, and if they really did steal a lot of civics they will get caught.

fuel kill switch doesn't do shit, alarm doesn't do shit, no ecu and steering wheel doesn't do switch, auto lock and club locks don't do shit either. Slows them down a bit sometimes, but otherwise, its worthless. Tow it away, its gone.
