I think it'd just be a lot nicer to buy a last gen 540i 6speed for around 25k, rebuild the motor and supercharge it for another 10-15k then for no more than 40k you will have a 600+hp 5series that would smoke any new M5, and look much better doing it

yeah, looks too much like the new 7 series, i wouldnt drive it. i would rather have my car, and mine is cheaper to boot.

That car is HOT. You watch, in 4 years, you'll be wondering how they got so far ahead of the game. The same way the SC430 has grown on you (you know it has)...

I'll probably end up liking this car. I was saying the same thing about the new 5-series until I saw it in person and on Speedvision and completely changed my mind. Right now seeing the pictures it doesn't look too appealing but I know I'll love this car once its released. The new 540's are smooth though, especially in black.

ahead of the game???? i was designin stuff like that back in 4th grade....mine were called "busy" and "too stretchy" oh well...

it's not realy pretty...but it will do it's job i guess.

I think people will get used to the new 5 series and M5, but I don't think I will ever really like it. The E39 is so much nicer.

Seriously, what the heck is up with all the slanted designs? The headlights, the tail lights, and the corner air damn all have that pulled back slant that I don't find appealing at all.
