People in the market for legends?????

I'm just curious to know if there are any people on these forums who are in tha market for a legend? I'm still debating on buying a type II and I'm seriously taking it into consideration this time.

I own a '91 cobalt blue/tan coupe with 59,900 on tha odometer. I bought it back on Nov. 21st with 57,321 on it. 60K mile service was done on Dec. 27th.

I just wanna see if there would be people who would be interested IF I put it up for sale on tha boards. Once again, IF I sale, i'd be askin' $10500 firm.

Peace

Not to make you feel bad. But. No WAY.

That's way too high for that car.

I had a feelin' it would be. I've seen legends go for more than that down here with higher mileage......go figure . So i'd thought i'd give it a try. But would $10k be better? Tha n.a.d.a. high is $10,200.

Dont get me wrong man.
The mileage is awesome.
The thing that kills it is age.

Like, I have a 93 Coupe 6speed.

Just for the mere fact that it's a 93, it's automatically less than a 95 would be, by at least 1-2k.

So if my car is 9k, I'd expect to get at least 11k for a 95.

Please remember though, the economy is in the crap box.
So bear that in mind.

Sorry man! The ones that went for much more were probably 94-95 LS'. I am assuming your is an L since you didn't state differently. The KBB is just over $7k private party sale! Check it for yourself! Sorry to bust your bubble!
Later!

Having an LS is overrated IMO, the second power seat, heated seats, and some of the other stuff just kind of weigh the car down.

I like the LS models over the L models. Automatic Climate Control is the Shiz! Power passenger seat might be slightly heavier but I always get "WOW THE PASSANGER SEAT IS POWER" remarks lol.

my god, my auto climate weighs so much, my car barely move compared to an L. I guess I'll just have to climb over to the passenger side, set my temperature at 70 degrees with a touch of a button and slowing recline the seat with a flick of a switch while feeling the warmth of heated seats slowly embrace my body as I feel the smoothness of real burlwood trim center console. Ok...I'll stop now.

Jose is right

the age kills the price. The milage helps alot though, I would think you could get 7k if the condition of car is proprtional with the milage.10-11k is type 2 range in great condition 60-80k. Bulldog? I believe has alot of custom work for 9.5k, with low miles too. I think the Ls model is a significant improvement.Climate control and heated seats are most useful, plus flagship imo should have those. Even 98exv6 accord have power pass. and climate control, I think if you do sell it you should sell it now or use it cause resale isn't gonna get any better. To most ppl dropping 10k on a 98-99 exv6 accord with similar miles/ condition makes more sense, I would too. Now a 94-95 type 2 Ls would be a tough decision for me, 6 speed would seal the deal.

Damn yo,

I didn't think age would kill it that bad. It's just been 4 months since I bought it.......didn't know price could change like that. I dunno how much tha legends sell where you guys live, but in Florida they're a big deal, at least in Tallahassee.

Nobody can really find ones in excellent condition. And most '94-'95 I've seen start at least $12,500 and up when I'm searchin' for some type IIs.

Damn age!!!!!!!

Blue--

Actually, you bring up a good point.

To find a low mileage car in Florida or California is a feat in itself, so they automatically jump up.

I could tell you , you're going to have a tough time selling it , if you put it on Autotrader, but if you put it in local papers, you might get a person that may want to pay for it, (and older woman or man), etc.......
