Proposing to my girlfriend
Guys,
I am going to propose to my girlfriend on Sep 29th (her birthday). I have a ring picked out, but I am not sure yet how to do actually pop the question. In fact, I am having to sell the Legend to pay for it. That's how awesome she is!!! We have been talking about it for a while now so I know she is going to say yes. I just want it to be as special for her as possible. She is very into the whole sappy thing and she knows that I am not. So, I want to do it how she would like it. So, any ideas, stories, personal experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks guys Don't worry - I will return to Legend ownership very shortly!! Jonny Drinkdontdrive@aol.com |

When me and my wife first started going out I proposed to her in front of her locker at school. We were kidz then and I wasnt serious. 10 yrs later I took her back to the same school same locker and told her this time I was asking for real. It was also Valentines Day.

Man, I'm planning on proposing to my GF someday, but even if I had to, Michelle would never let me sell my car just because of sentimental value, I guess. She know's I love my car as much as I love her (in a diffrent way) and I guess that's why she's expecting to see my 87 in our family for the rest of our lives.

Few thoughts...
If you go out to eat... Most restaurants print out the specials of the day menu daily - if you call them in advance they can make a "special" menu just for your table with one of the "specials" on the special of the day menu being an order of "honey will you marry me?" Or you could even just have the restaurant write that on their main specials board.
If you go to a Chinese Restaurant and IF you can wait till the end of dinner you can have the fortune cookies made (I know there are places that do this) with all the fortunes to read .."will you marry me?, love don'tdrinkanddrive Or you could go to the restuarant in advance and just have them place the ring in some prearranged dish and you or your girl almost eat the dish and "oh my gosh there is something in my salad, its a, its a ... oh my gosh. You get the pic. These are just some fun ideas off the top of my head. Good luck and well... good luck. |

She is half Colombian and half Mexican so I believe I'd have been in some serious @#$% if I hadn't asked permission!! Jonny Drinkdontdrive@aol.com |
