Looks like Peter (PSA) is hurt and taking time off from work. Hope he gets better

Yeah. He mentioned in an earlier post that he had lost 3 fingers in an accident.

It is unfortunate, and I do wish him well.

When I met up with Fut last week, he mentioned that he had spoken to Peter, and he said that he's doing OK.

I spoke to Peter this past weekend. I was terribly upset to hear what happened but suprisingly he's in good spirit given what happened. He's recovering and should return to work soon.

A few of us actually have our Legends serviced by Peter and he is the man. Period. I don't let anyone do mechanical work on my Legend other then Peter. Just ask NickD or dmenn.

Ok, it turns out he lost his pinky and the tips of his next two fingers. He's not in bad shape and will hopefully be back to work at Clinton Acura in 3-4 weeks. I got this from John, the service manager at the Clinton Acura dealership. I will try and contact Pete when I can find where I put his number...

wow, did his accident happen at work? That's my worst nightmare about working on cars, losing fingers. Well, I hope he's doing alright and he's in good spirits. Be careful when you're under the hood everybody.

Wow

I'm very sorry PSA. A friend of mine lost his arm about 4 or 5 months ago. He worked at a factory and his arm got caught in a machine and it twisted his arm around a few times. It had to be amputated. I guess things could be worse for you. I really do hope you feel better and I just prayed for you.

Peter,

I'm very sorry to hear about your recent accident. I have endured significant hand injury in the distant past so I can relate to your current situation. The skilled surgeons responsible for my care were able to repair the damage to minimize the impairment so I have regained nearly 100% of the utility of my extremity.

I understand that it will take time and patience but I wish you a maximal recovery.
