Red Bellied Piranha pics

we.... i decided to coax my piranha to come out of the faux drift wood that he/she always hides under.

i really should've gotten a group of them instead of just one.

hopefully i'll sell this one one day and i'll get myself an S. Elongatus

those piranha's are suppose to be the most aggresive ones.

Do you like throw a chicken leg in there everyonce in awhile and watch it go off? Perhaps a live hamster or small mouse ...what does it eat?

SWEET!!! Now I know where I can get a set. Been looking up and down around here. One petshop tried to sell me a Pacu and said it was a Piranha.This is another thing I miss bout New York. You can get anything and fast.

I actually got mines in jersey.

im not sure but i believe in NY you need to have to register with the state that you have an exotic pet or something...

as for my piranha... its very shy... it always hides inside the fake driftwood.

I had a nice african eletric yellow cichlid that i tried to keep with the pirahna...
that was the biggest mistake i ever made... and this was before i put in the driftwood so he was pretty much territorial and I woke up one day and saw a huge chunk bitten out of the cichlid

other than that hes a wus now...

Zany you said you'd like to see a video of that? Alright, well lemme try to find it, but I used to have a video on my computer of a LIVE rat in a tank with about 10-15 Piranhas. I'll see if I still got it.

Go to www.Piranha-Fury.com and go to feeding videos. Then click the link on the right side which lists how many people have downloaded the file. There are clips of many different feedings.

Nah . Not too fond of them. I always had piranhas in New York.

In Woodhaven, Queens. Bob's Tropical if it still there. They had monkeys and everything else.
