The bet is over. The Coupe runs. But it runs like crap. I need Christian's help on this one.

Here's what I did over the summer:

Lightened flywheel
Luk performance clutch
Luk Slave cylinder
2003 Acura 3.5L block (first block had low compression & had to rebuild it twice)
2001 Acura 3.5L Heads
2002 Acura 3.5L intake manifold (gutted and polished)
2001 Acura 3.5L exhaust manifolds (ported and polished)
stock y pipe (for now)

Here's what it looked like as of Friday, the vacuum and coolant hoses are on now. I think I have something mixed up with the vacuum hoses, because it runs like crap. Maybe it's the gutted intake manifold. The Apex'i S-AFC isn't hooked up yet.

No, the first block I used wouldn't even start. I seriously thought about burning the car at first, but the junkyard I got it from replaced it with an 03 block, which made it worth it.

I still need to install the belts, but I want to get the running part situated first.

I am drag racing on the 16th of sept. I figured you need to break in the motor etc but if it already is ....or if you want us chicagoland guys to head your way to a track in Indiana or something let us know.

Also make sure your air bypass vacuum line is hooked up etc..

This thing should be in Atlanta on the 16th. I'm probably going to buy the OBX header/y pipe combo, and get this thing dyno tuned at my buddy's new shop (Akron Horsepower). Maybe then, I'll be ready for the track.

Yeah, I got to keep the coupes.

I forgot one other thing, the race coupe got a roll cage over the summer.

Good to see you back. I have picked up a coupe shell since you left, selling the white sedan, and bought and 02 TL-S. The coupe shell is getting the same treatment as your race coupe, but maybe not RL heads.......

Phils car is sitting in front of my house, and it will be finished soon. Good to see you back. Glad you got to keep em both.
