Southern California Caravan to San Luis Obispo

Hi all,

I'd like to get a head count on the number of members who will be joining the caravan up to San Luis Obispo this Saturday.

Thus far, we have 20+ who have indicated that they will be there, and am assuming that a good number will be driving up that morning.

The drive up to SLO from SoCal will begin from Acura 101 West in Calabasas (off the 101 FWY) [ Info on Acura 101 West is here ] as it is pretty much the northern-most point that everyone would have to pass to get to SLO from L.A. and southward.

We will set off from there at around 9:00 AM.

Thus far, the count is 4 Legends that will be driving up together, but the more the merrier.

Last year, we had 6 Legends make the drive up together, and it was a blast!

Please indicate here whether or not you will be joining the caravan up. (For those unfamiliar, it is a nice scenic route that we plan to be taking).

Please vote in the poll so that we have a clear and easy count, and also post a quick note to let us know of your plans; especially if you plan to join the caravan (this is so we know whom to expect, and not leave anyone behind).

Hope to see a ton of Legends there. Let's take over the freeways.

You know I'm there, even w/ a minor-moderate oil leak (oil pan). I'll just take on a couple quarts of oil. Oh, and wrong forum.

Dang, the caravan sounds like fun. Tempting to meet up with you guys, BUT for me SLO is just a straight shot to the west. You guys have fun and drive safe. C-ya there.

Graeme, I'm gonna be going for sure, but I'm not sure if I can get my car out of the shop tomorrow. If I can't get my car out of the shop, I'm just gonna take my mom's Accord. I have both a clog and leak in my A/C system. I don't think my GF is willing to hack a whole day w/o A/C. I mean, going home, around Buena Park, my GF was starting to get cramping in her hands, arms and legs cuz she was getting too dehydrated. So, A/C is gonna be a must.

Wally, I'll double check on the route we'll be taking and get back to you. I remember taking the 154 up the last time, but I'm not sure.

BTW, too bad I won't be taking the GS-6. It would be sweet to have 4 GS 6-speeds at the meet.

BTW, if anyone who hasn't indicated to me that you will be meeting up with the caravan to SLO from SoCal, but would like to, you may still do so. Just be at Acura 101 West in Calabasas (link above) by 9:00 am, and we can head out together.

PS. Don't worry if your car's a little dirty. Just show up. We're not an elitist crowd.
