U know after reading the article on Mr Thurman, i realized that not only are some of these Southern cats Racists......they're confused, i find myself laughing, not becuase of the situation but because of the Irony, i mean the "GREAT SOUTHERN SEPERATIONIST" "MR SOUTHERN COMFORT SENATOR" ohhhh the while he was getting his freak on with the help......ohhhhh it doesn't get any better than seeing Ignorant people make themselves look like hipocritical fools and shutting up the people that back them up

Being dead doesn't make one less despicable. Being dead doesn't suddenly erase the things you stood for. Even dead Strom Thurman deserves no respect.

If he was so "despicable" then he wouldn't have been a senator for so long. He realized what he stood for was wrong; he turned around and had THOUSANDS of blacks and other minorities vote for him.
So you think you should criticize someone for their beliefs which they don't even believe anymore? The man changes his views for the better, and you still rant on about his former thougts which he later rejected. I don't understand. . .

NOOOOOO things like this need to be brought to light and just like some of you, family memebers of Thurman wish this would go away as quietly, but it didn't and i'm glad, I'm shure they don't feel all high and mighty now.
