Just got home from work. I work at a florist, so it's been a hell of a long one(actually I've worked 25 days in a row as of today; have a week more of it). Brought home an interesting story, though.
Coworker and I closed the store down(no easy feat when people are streaming through the door five minutes before we locked the doors). Got everything straightened up and the registers closed. We were chatting about the remarkable lack of people not pulling up and banging on our doors, and how we really couldn't help them and would prolly have to turn 'em away. I put my foot in my mouth thirty seconds later as a pristine '94-'95 Canterbury sedan(with a very tasteful, professional tint job and a clear bra of all things) pulled up. Needless to say I let the guy in and my coworker had to stand there while I did my best to help him and scope out his car. Managed to do it, though.Once I get on vacation I'm going to pull out my Indy boxed set and do a marathon or two. I'm gonna see the new one once it comes out. ![]()
