Mcain's outlook on the coming fuel crisis...."Gas prices wont drop" . that is all, no solutions, ideas, thoughts on what we should do ...just a simple OBVIOUS statement that Gas Prices wont drop. WOW! I look forward to having him in office ...hes gonna be a very informative and busy president...not However he was busy with his Republican party. After saying In the past McCain has indicated he would consider such a tax proposal, saying he didn't want to see companies making "obscene profits" that distort the market. He goes and supports this : Senate Republicans block taxes on oil profits - Oil & energy - MSNBC.com Senate Republicans block taxes on oil profits “We are hurting as a country. We’re hurting individually as Americans ... and the other side says, ‘Do nothing. Don’t even debate the issue,”’ complained Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y. “Average citizens are scratching their heads and saying, what’s wrong with Washington,” said Schumer. So we have the democrats that SEE a rising problem a fuel crisis thats coming soon ,,,want to start making plans ahead for the future to get the Government and oil companies at least motivated to come up with some solutions: The Democratic energy package would have imposed a 25 percent tax on any “unreasonable” profits of the five largest U.S. oil companies, which together made $36 billion during the first three months of the year. It also would have given the government more power to address oil market speculation, opened the way for antitrust actions against countries belonging to the OPEC oil cartel, and made energy price gouging a federal crime. But the Republicans just shut it down ...wont even discuss it , talk about what they would like to change on the proposal or come up with a better idea ...Noooooo lets just leave everything the way it is since alls fine and dandy. Hell lets not even talk about it , lets just ignore the situation all together. So lets vote Mccain so we can have another monkey in the office to have his party continue to corrode away at the US economy and future while they sit back ...do nothing, and make statements that the price of gas is high and may go higher but dont worry cause McBush and his republicans ar already thinking about the future: Shortly after the oil tax vote, Republicans blocked a second proposal that would extend tax breaks that have either expired or are scheduled to end this year for wind, solar and other alternative energy development, and for the promotion of energy efficiency and conservation. Cool I think its an awesome idea to take away tax breaks to research alternative energy and Leave the current tax breaks on all the ridiculous profit the oil companies are making. OK so oil companies are making record profits ..TAX free....and they are going to be encouraged to research alternative energy, whose tax breaks have expired making alternative energy development more expensive, instead of just "STAYING THE COURSE" and reaping in record profits with Tax breaks. Hell things are great the way they are and getting better right !? Vote McBush “This was politics at its worst,” complained Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo. “This was a refusal to debate the biggest problem confronting the American people. ... That takes nerve.” So to re-cap ....If you like the way things are now, and were they are heading, If you enjoy having a president that has a blind eye to the US population and there concerns and problems, If you enjoyed the 6 years of a POINTLESS WAR that was unjusifiably started, If you want a government that turns a blind eye to the fuel crisis and doesnt even want to discuss a proposal on how we can solve our energy problems,, nows your chance to enjoy another 4 years of the same exact BS Bush and his party and fellow administration has put this country VOTE MCCAIN ....because change is bad!

"I don't think it's going much lower, and it could go higher," McCain said on NBC's "Today Show." "I don't think so, not when you've got a finite supply, basically, and a cartel controlling it." Although the GOP presidential candidate didn't address the question of raising taxes on oil companies, he said the companies "absolutely" should return some profits to consumers. "And they should be embarking on research and development that will pay off in reducing our dependence on foreign oil," he said. "The point is, oil companies have got to be more participatory in alternate energy, in sharing their profits in a variety of ways, and there is very strong and justifiable emotion about their profits," McCain said. The issue of oil company profits came up this week in the Senate, where Republicans stopped the Democrats from imposing a tax on windfall profits and taking away billions of dollars in tax breaks in response to the $4-a-gallon price of gas. In the past McCain has indicated he would consider such a tax proposal, saying he didn't want to see companies making "obscene profits" that distort the market. McCain used the opportunity to bring up his proposal for a gas tax holiday that would suspend the federal tax of 18.4 cents per gallon, a proposal that Democratic rival Barack Obama dismisses as a gimmick. Pretty good outlook if you ask me... |

We have enough oil here in our ground to be free from forgien oil, its just that we as a country dont have a set, that wont change with deocrats nor republicans....
how anyone can vote for obama and truely believe that is a better choice beats me.. call me the white devil but if a white canidate did even half the crap obama has he would have been laughed out of contention and wouldnt even have been talked about for 2 seconds. a white man is in league with a church that hates America and says the same thing but reverse that obamas mentor " father figure" put into his head about white people not making it to heaven..... had that been reverse and it was a white man in a church run by the KKK saying that black people couldnt make it to heaven... spouting all sorts of racists remarks... his carer would have been over the second that came out. but you have a MUSLEM ( exact type of people that caused 9/11 ) i dont care if it is all about peace and love...... you never hear them denouncing these acts in great messages of how that is not the will of thier god when a jackass straps a bomb to himself and takes out a bus full of kids just because they dont bow to meca 800 times a day..... you hve a black muslem running for president of the US that belonged to a church for 20 years that hates white people.... a church where the pastor says things like " God damn America" etc. and thats the better choice?...... call me racist...i dont care.... but i just dont see it as being a better choice because he says "CHANGE" 8 million times..... what change.... change of what? i dont have a problem with a black president but a muslem black man that goes to a church that preaches GOD DAMN AMERICA... and white people cant make it to heaven because they are all evil.... isnt that in and of it self the exact sort of racisim that the white man is supposed to be so evil for just reversed? yeah sure maybe he denounced the church, but he didnt do it because he disagrees he did it because if he didnt ..... no presidency. the oil problem is a problem where the solution is right under our feet, we have enough oil shale to be independant of forgien oil but due to activists that hug the trees..... we cant drill into it because if we do we risk the life of some stupid fish.... some stupid tree or other wildlife....or the rich folks in cali, florida dont want it to mess up their pretty view. which is why this country needs to grow a set and stop worrying about what everyone thinks.... we give billions of dollars to help other countries and they STILL hate us..... i say we grow a set again and say ..... "ya know what.. we were trying to help.... still want to hate us.... fine.... you are on your own..... FAH-Q you very much have a nice day."

Personally i think both choices suck
I;ve never been a democrat or republican.... because when you label yourself as such you tend to have this "WE WIN" mentallity and you lose sight of what matters.... ( like voting say someone like hitler into office just cause hes not bush. a bit extreme but you get the point ) again im not opposed to a black man as president, just obama, i dont feel he is qualified nor do i believe he has our countries best intrests at heart. but if the fact i dont feel a particular black man is qualified makes me a racist then so be it.
