4" group at 7 yards is about all you can expect. It is a pocket pistol anyway, just put it in the gut and empty it.

Actually, the PS90 and the Five-seveN pistol are both legal to own here. The PS90 has the minimum 16" barrel requirement to be classified as a rifle. However, you do live in SoCal, so I'm not entirely sure how your state and local laws are about those guns, unfortunately.

FN started selling them here after the AWB sunset in '04. I went to a local gun show shortly after the ban had expired and found a few boxes of 5.7x28mm... I was shocked until the guy behind the booth told me they were actuially selling the PS90 and Five-seveN here now.

I don't have deep enough pockets for a Barrett .50 these days, but I did manage to pick up an Ultralite .50 cal today. Should be pretty fun if I ever find enough open space to shoot it. I still need a scope as well obviously.

Interesting... looks like that's basically a bolt action single-shot .50BMG reciever mounted on an AR15 lower?

That's exactly how it's setup. Uses an upgraded hammer and spring in the lower. There are a quite a few companies that have started selling .50 BMG uppers in the past few years. Pretty cool concept if you ask me. Really simple to take apart for cleaning etc. And a somewhat affordable way to get into a .50.
