Where are ur ballasts?

Legends have absolutely no space.
HAHAHAHA!!!! Those are the exact same places that I put mine. I guess we're just cool like that .

Looks really great so far. I'm also curious about the beam pattern because I just got some HID's also.

There is a pic of my beam pattern on a building
http://www.legend-forum.com/showthre...&threadid=3793

I hid my ballast under the window washer fluid /coolant fluid place. The passenger side, I put it under the intake area.

How hot do the ballasts get?

Like I told Crazi (former Legend owner, was on the old forums, not as much here anymore)...

"How many times do you change your high beams out?"

That was why I put it behind the high beam for the left side (driver's side)..

I had Stanley bulbs all around. I think those were the originals. I was like, WOWEE. LOL

Thumbs up

Looking good Jose! Autolamps is the ****. High quality products and no compromises. Tried and proven. I think theres like 25-30+ legend owners who have Autolamp kits. Maybe we should get another group buy going?

6000 K stands for Kelvin, the color temperature for HIDs.

They mainly come in 2 different temperatures (colors), 4300K and 6000K.

4300K looks white, but closer to yellow than the 6000K, which looks like the newer TL's and RL's HIDs on the Acuras. The 6000K also reflects the signs tremendously well.

Anything other than that is a run around and you're better off paying for the good stuff off the bat, than paying for melted harnasses or melted headlights.

I think you're confusing things here.

6000K is HID.
There are "HID" look a like bulbs out there that require higher wattage, but nothing beats the real thing.

I say, stay stock or get HIDs.
Dont half ass it.

Ok, so $400-500-600 is too much.
I can agree and understand with that.
But like I said, stay w/ stock everything and just save up for HIDs in the future.

It's like, I *KNOW* you'll never have problems going from stockies to HIDs. You'll never get burnt harnesses, no bulbs will ever explode, you'll never mess it up. Now, it'll hurt worse to try to get a few more watts out of something it wasnt designed for, so I'd rather have higher light output out of less wattage (HID) than anything else.

OR

You can do the 9006 to 9005 conversion for the headlights.
That'll be your best bet, you'll get 5 more watts, and wont have to replace any harnesses.

Instructions are on www.legend.org

Thanks!
