94/95 Sedan Front Bumper Swap (PIX 800x600)

I finally completed my 94/95 front bumper swap for my 93 legend. I ordered the bumper off ebay, and surprisingly enough the paint matched up (IMO) perfectly. all i need is either fog lights or the covers for the fog lights. i'll call AoA this week and find out how much those are.

just a nice shot of the side

next on my list is to get a 94/95 painted front grill, and then change the emblems on the back.

not too bad

had to shave the foam a bit to fit in the new bumper.

only problem is the license plate holder from the old bumper doesn't fit this bumper. so that's another $30

Just don't put front plate on there.....it look way better with out it. It is against the law here, but it's a chance I am willing to take. A cop would have to be a true mofo to give me a ticket for that.

Nima, you should put the license plate on, or you're going to get pulled over here in SoCal. I got a suggestion: buy a license plate relocator, and mount it in midline, but just a little under and back of the leading edge of the bumper. Drill the holes so that you mount the license plate holder from underneath so you can't see any holes. The license plate will in effect be over the black area, not the white. It's a much cleaner look for a sedan, did it to mine and very pleased with the result. With regards to painting the lower trim, to each his own. I guess if you were to lower the car then I'd hate to scuff up any parts, and since you got pearl white on the LS(?) it will be costlier because it's tricoat paint. Other than that, seems nice to paint it. I think a good time to do it is if/when you scuff up your bumpers so you don't feel bad. If you don't, I'd just leave it alone as you have a nice stock look.

Cool My .02 cents

SPOILER! OEM that is. Just stay away from "Wings West". It took five months to get mine. I am assuming from the picture that the bumper does not quite fit flush from the side qtr panels? I am looking to do this very same mod to my 91. All aside, great work in keeping it CLEAN.
