Can anyone provide me with pictures of a stock rear of the 3.5 litre engine? Shots like these would be amazing:

I'm trying to figure out the differences between USDM and JDM.

lol I was thinking those pics are as good as any, then I saw that you wanted to know the dff between USDM and JDM and realized I can't help I have the JDM too.

I think the only differences are symmetrical - the fuel lines run on the opposite side as well as the wire harness on the JDM RHD cars. Whats the deal, though? I hope you're installing a type II manifold and tossing that dumb RL stuff.

Odd. There seems to be a few differences on number of tubes and how/where they run. Anyone else see them?

There were differences in the 96 USDM motor and 98 USDM motor. I think some of the differences are related to whether or not it has traction control. Also JDM motors have different emissions systems and aren't OBD2 compliant.... Which reminds me to ask if the ignition coils on your JDM motor have 2 or 3 prongs. The third prong is a spark monitor that tells the ECU if and when the spark plug fired so that it can set an OBD2 misfire fault code.

"I believe the VIS system was intended to raise gas mileage in city driving conditions. I can start off in 2nd gear, and it's actually pretty powerful right off the line. I do not believe it will hurt power down low, I actually feel that it increased power."

But dynos are not as accurate as the real thing...
