Can anyone provide me with pictures of a stock rear of the 3.5 litre engine? Shots like these would be amazing:

lol I was thinking those pics are as good as any, then I saw that you wanted to know the dff between USDM and JDM and realized I can't help I have the JDM too.

I think the only differences are symmetrical - the fuel lines run on the opposite side as well as the wire harness on the JDM RHD cars. Whats the deal, though? I hope you're installing a type II manifold and tossing that dumb RL stuff.

^I'll be getting there. I just want to get it running right now. I'm gathering TII cams, springs, valves, and manifold, but yeah, for now RL OEMness.

Odd. There seems to be a few differences on number of tubes and how/where they run. Anyone else see them?
