Desert Mist GS 6MT: History and Pics
The purchase of my most recent GS dates back many years, but I'll bring you up to speed with this post. I first laid eyes on the car in the fall of 2004 in a small community in northern Utah where I was going to college. I already had my coupe at the time, and I knew I had to have a GS 6-speed in a matching color someday.
I've kept in touch with the owner ever since, and periodically stopped by to snag a picture every once in awhile when I've been back to visit. I was waiting for him to be ready to sell. And, a few weeks ago, he called to say he was ready. I had a cashier's check in his hand within 36 hours of the phone call. Hope you enjoyed my history lesson ![]() |

Congratulations on your purchase! It's hard to keep up with your Legend purchases, haha. I remember you posting pictures of that car for quite some time now and I'm glad it is finally yours. It looks like it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to see pictures of your Legends together, I'm sure it will look amazing after you give it your famous detail!

Thanks guys, glad to finally pick this one up.
I hope so. For reals!! lol... I totally did. The guy seriously didn't know how rare of a car he had. In fact, the last several times I had visited with him, he mentioned that he was sick of the manual transmission and wanted an automatic! Haha, yep, and well worth the wait .That's the goal... We'll see how it goes! I know! But I'm actually going to stick with the two I've got for awhile now. Honestly, the only reason I've ever bought anything else along the way was to hold me over until this guy was ready to sell. This is actually my third 1994 GS! haha. Marc, you gotta roll out here someday for some scenic drives! You'd love it. Quote:
