!!! GS Roll call !!!

All right! I got inspired by 6 speeds roll calls! Six-Speed Roll Call!

I am going to do GS Auto roll call too! I know its lame!

GS 6 speeds are welcome too…

I had 1994 LS Tan with 76K miles on it before I joined this forum, and I had no idea about GS. After a few months here in this forum, I really want GS Black/Black.

Please share your story…

i recently bought a 95 GS wht/tan with 168K.
2 owners before me, and i got it for half of kbb pp value.
it just needs some maintenance, but i am already liking the car alot...
but a coupe looks sportier, and a 6-speed would be fun...
but four doors and auto definitely has its advantages, too (sitting in traffic, carrying more than one passenger, etc).

Bought my '94 GS auto back in 2000 after owning an '87 Legend sedan for a little over 5 years. It took me about a year to get it all done, but within that time, I put on EDM clear corners, HID lighting, lowered it and got a system and navigation installed. Also added a custom cold air intake, Remus exhaust and a Bayou chip. About a year later, I added my custom side markers.

Almost exactly two years later, after a long search and the help of fellow forum member MikeC, I found my second '94 GS, but this one a 6-speed. Paint was in bad shape until I took care of it two years later. I then added wheels, a drop, new leather, mats, full EDM headlights, HIDs, custom CAI, Remus and the Bayou chip.

I bought my '94 GS back in 2000 and it has 86k miles on it. Now, it's been about six years since i owned . It has 170k miles on it now and it still run the same way as i had back in 2000.

I have a GS, found it on craigslist. But, I have a stupid question, how is a GS different from other models? What else does it have compaired to an LS?

Got her a few months back with 71k miles. Black on black. Put BBS -RGR wheels a few weeks ago. Man I love this car lol.

The differences between the LS sedan and the GS sedan are that the GS has the Type II 230hp engine found in the '93 - '95 coupes vs. the standard 200hp engine. It also has traction control which is found on the '93 - '95 LS coupes. It also came standard with a 6-speed manual (although most opted for the automatic) vs. the 5-speed manual on the other sedans.

The wheels are also different. The GS wears the same wheels that were put on the '93 - '95 LS coupes. It is also the only sedan that did not shift to the new style front grille in '94. Instead, it retained the earlier style, and was body colored.

It also got dual piston front brake calipers and I think sportier suspension.

bro i always loved your green gs 6spd. going to look up to you.

if i convert my legend to 6spd (which i eventually will) can i join the g2 club. my legend will have rims so the gs's are not going to come on until winter times. ill eventually have an rl swap so the type 2 isnt going to make it. what else i need to convert to GS???

Well, I might as well represent also. I guess I'll show her subtle transformation in my pics. I got her last October with 85K on the dash. She now has 97K and runs just as perfect as the day I bought her. I love her and probably will never get rid of her. Next is installation of JDM's followed by a subtle drop.

Externally, all you would need would be the color coded front grille and the front brakes. Internally, you have a slightly larger gap to bridge because you have the L model. You're missing the digital climate control, I think the heated seats, the powered passenger seat and the Bose "Premium" system. All easily solved except for the climate control.

I forgot to mention also that the GS shares the gauge cluster with the '93-'95 LS coupe (with the inclusion of TCS, higher redline and top speed). Remember too that you will have to change your cluster anyway if you're converting from an automatic.
